About the
Waikato A&P Show
130 Years of History
The Show has been held on Claudelands Showgrounds for over 100 years and each year it has seen thousands of people through the gates. Thanks to the Waikato A&P Association, the Show has been able to continue year after year, evolving with the times.
On top of traditional animal competitions, the show features entertainment, trade exhibits and expos – creating a fantastic and unique day out for the whole family.
Without the Association members, volunteers, stewards, judges and financial partners, the Show wouldn’t be what it is today. We invite you to come along and experience all the Waikato A&P Show has to offer.
The Show is organised by Showing Waikato Ltd, an event management company who partners with the Association to deliver this event each year.
